Resonance Repatterning FAQ'SDo I need to know anything about Resonance Repatterning in order to have a session?
No, you don’t. Resonance Repatterning is likely to make a lot more sense to you after you have had your first session, so you are welcome to read about the system before or afterwards, just as it suits you. I don't have any health issues but I have lots of problems at work. Is that something I can have a session on?
I highly recommend a session. The common thread in all our problems is that we resonate with them. So whether the problem is physical, emotional, mental, spiritual, at work, at home, in relationship or within ourself, it's all perfect for processing in a Resonance Repatterning session! What happens in a Resonance Repatterning session?
In a nutshell, you will find out about your present resonance – the positive and negative beliefs and feelings you resonate with. Through the Resonance Repatterning process you will naturally and easily move into a more coherent, positive state. Do I need to come to the session with an issue I want to work on?
You can come with a list of issues if you like, or you can come completely blank, not sure what you want to focus on. We will use the Resonance Repatterning process to see where we need to begin and what your system most needs to work on. Is it OK to take notes on the session while it is going on?
You can take notes if you wish, but it is likely to keep you in an alert, analytical or beta brainwave state; healing occurs when we go into slower brainwave states of deep relaxation. As practitioner, I take detailed notes because I use them at the end of the session to recheck your resonance. If you wish to have a copy of the session notes, we can muscle check to see whether and when it is beneficial for you to read them. Is there anything I need to do to prepare for my session with you?
Yes! Turn off your cell phone, find care for your family members and pets, and arrange to be “not available” for the 1 hour of your appointment. Most sessions take about 1 hour, but it’s good to allow extra time in case the session is longer or in case you want to be quiet and relax afterwards. Be comfortably dressed and have a glass of water at hand to sip on as you need it. How do I maintain whatever I achieve during a session?
Going into positive action is what helps you maintain the new positive resonance you achieve during your sessions. Sometimes a specific Positive Action comes up for you to do in the days after the session, to anchor your system's new level of coherence. The idea is to strengthen the new neural pathways by going into action, which makes the neuronal connections 'fire' - and causes the old dendrites to fade out from disuse (as illustrated in What the Bleep). What if the good effects don't last?
If you find yourself spontaneously acting in a different way from before, or feeling different, not falling back into old ways of reacting or negative thinking, then you have definitely spiralled towards greater coherence. And if you feel that these good effects don't last, it is probably your system just letting you know there is more stuff that needs to be cleared. How else can our body-mind system communicate with us, other than through feelings of dis-ease or of joy and feeling good! So if there are more non-coherent aspects of the issue that your system wants identified and brought into sync, you will notice it in one way or another - until your frequencies reach a tipping point of coherence, when you'll feel good to go, symptom-free! How much do you charge for a session and how do I pay?
I charge $75 for a session that lasts up to an hour. In person sessions may be paid at the time of the appointment. Telephone sessions may be paid in advance of the appointment by check, or send the money by PayPal to dawnlars@aol.com. (Go to PayPal.com and click on the send money tab. You do not need a PayPal account to do this.) Make checks payable to Dawn Larson. I do not accept credit cards. My office will send you an email as well as a paper receipt when your check or transaction is received. Your time and mine are valuable. If you have to postpone your session, please let me know at least 24 hours ahead so you can apply the fee to another appointment and avoid losing all/part of it in last-minute cancellation charges. Occasionally sessions go overtime, especially when we go deeper into an issue. There's a $15 fee per quarter hour extra. If you wish to keep the session to one hour max, just let me know when we set up your appointment. Ask about package deals!
What about children? I have young kids under 5 ~ is it possible to work on their issues?
I love giving sessions to children! And they are very responsive. Once you have experienced sessions for yourself, then tell them in simple words about the sessions and how it makes you feel. Even if they are pre-verbal. Then ask them if they'd like to have a session. If they are very young, watch their body response ~ it will tell you Yes or No! As parent, once you have your child's Yes, you will be the proxy for your child. Usually we start out with a MINI SESSION (20 minutes), and if they respond well and want more, we can gradually increase the time as needed. |
